Remodels, roof tear-offs, cleanouts and job sites. Tell us what you are throwing out and we will help you pick the right size, drop it where you want it and haul it off when you are done.
How we look at it
Most people guess at a dumpster size, and the guess is usually too small. Then it is a second haul, or a pile in the yard. When you call Atlas Dumpster Rental, expect a couple of questions back — what the project is, roughly how much is coming out, and whether there is anything heavy like concrete or shingles — so the box that shows up is one you can actually finish the job in.

Shingle tear-offs are heavy. A smaller box, placed close to the eave, keeps the job moving.

10, 15, 20, 30 and 40 yard roll-offs, and a plain guide to which one fits your job.

Folks usually ask
A one-room remodel or a garage cleanout usually fits in a 10 or 15 yard. A full kitchen, flooring for a whole house or a big cleanout is a 20. New construction and whole-house tear-outs run 30 or 40. Tell us the project and we will help you pick.
A loaded roll-off is heavy. We set it down on boards to spread the weight, and it helps to keep it off fresh concrete and away from the edge of the slab. If you are worried about a spot, point it out when we drop it.
Paint, solvents, oil, tires, batteries, appliances with refrigerant, and anything hazardous are generally not allowed. Concrete, dirt and brick can go in, but they are heavy and usually need their own box. Ask when you call if you are not sure.
On your own driveway or lot, generally no. If the dumpster has to sit on a city street or sidewalk, check with the City of Shreveport or Bossier City before it is dropped.
Rentals are set by the number of days, and you can extend if the job runs long. Call when you are done, or when it is full, and it gets picked up.
Yes. On construction and big cleanout jobs, a full dumpster can be hauled off and an empty one set down in its place.
